Google Phone Rumors Emerge
Many rumors have been floating around about the search engine company Google lately, that they are making their own phone. This phone would run with the Android operating system, which is also created by the search engine company. However Google has repeatedly stepped up to state that they are not going to be creating a phone, none the less rumors are still popping up that they are in fact in the process of creating one.
This phone is believed to be designed by Google itself while in league with a leading phone manufacturer, which at this time is unknown. It has also been rumored that the operating system for this phone is like no other ever before seen. However it has been spotted running on a Google handset as well as a laptop, or so it is rumored from an unknown source.
Google has been known to have a part in the development of a phone already released, one that is powered by the Android OS. One such phone is the HTC Dream made by T-Mobile. It is indicated that Google’s hardware capabilities will not arise beyond this level.
It has been made clear that sources have found out that Google is in fact working with an unnamed manufacturer to create a new phone. This phone looks as though it will be one of the most competitive phones on the market today.
What’s unique about this new phone is that it will be available, unlocked from the retail channel. This is unusual and is not how phone business is normally done. They all go through a mobile carrier to do all their business. Not even Apple with their iPhone has been able to accomplish this feat. It will also be available for carriers as well however so that Google does not alienate the carriers.
