Do we need the Nokia N86?
There is a new mobile phone on the horizon and it goes by the name of the Nokia N86. It seems like a strange release, especially with the up and coming Nokia N97 looming on the horizon and from what we can see there is little difference between this phone and the original Nokia N85. There are a couple of things that are worth mentioning however and they are decent improvements on the original model.
Firstly there is the much improved camera on the N86. We all know that 5 megapixels is the standard nowadays, so adding an 8MP version is most certainly welcomed. The other feature that is a stand out for us, is the scratch resistant OLED screen. It is made from toughened glass, so in theory you will not damage the screen when it is in your pocket. You also get the usual N-Series additions such as Geo tagging and GPS navigation to prevent you from getting lost.
The Nokia N86 also comes with 8GB of internal storage and this is expandable with a 16GB Micro-SD card. The screen is bright and of a high quality, which makes it suitable for gaming, the market that this phones is typically aimed at. For a detailed run down of the specifications visit Engadget they have a pretty good video overview of the phone as well.
We have also included a promo video for you to take a look at courtesy of youtube.
