Samsung S5600
The all new Samsung S5600 touch phone is a breathtakingly beautifully designed phone. Its slick design gives touch phones a new perspective. Samsung has focused on providing its users an exceptionally big touch screen (2.8inch) and as usual it comes with its unique TouchWiz interface for great navigation and web browsing.
Samsung S5600 packs in a great 3megapixel camera capable of capturing both photos and videos. Its exceptional quality comes from the 240 x 320 pixel display unit QVGA. The unique accelerometer allows you to flip from portrait to landscape as required. This phone is designed for easy web browsing and comes with quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz. This also supports UMTS 900/2100MHz dual band and HSDPA. All these enable high speed data transmission.
Samsung S5600 incorporates a music identifier whereby a shot clip could be recorded and run through the Shazam’s Find Music service. The adapted Gesture Lock feature allows the user to unlock the phone by writing a letter on the screen.
Samsung has focused on providing ample space for storage and therefore includes an impressive built in 80Mb of storage and an expandable microSD card slot for larger memory banks. It stands tall in the standby area with 12.5 days and packs in enough battery power to go on for 3 hours.
The 1000 mAh battery does all this. S5600 has a great music player to add more hype and supports the 2.1v Bluetooth. It is packed with lots more surprises and somehow Samsung has done it again with a great phone.
Samsung has planned to make this available in May 2009 and first launch will happen in Europe but should catch up to other areas quickly. However, no pricing data were released by the company. The Samsung S5600 offers very attractive contracts and easy payment schemes are available for those wishing to pay up in installments.
